Growing up in Utah as the child of immigrants from Thailand and Laos, Roger Seng never quite felt like he belonged. Not fully American, not fully connected to where his family came from. Last year, he went to find out for himself.
What started as a trip across Thailand and Laos turned into something he didn't expect. He met family he never knew he had. Together they built a family tree for the first time, across language barriers, with big pieces of paper and Sharpies. And somewhere in all of it, he started to understand who he was.
